just read this ( taken fom ekantipur)

"According to police inspector Arun Paudel, it is often difficult to catch the culprits because the victims usually tend to exaggerate the looted amount."

now someone please explain me , why is it difficut to catch the culprits because the amount looted gets exaggerated???

On the other hand, had the victim estimated an amount below the looted one, then the police could digest that surplus amount and return the claimed amount to the victim. Now, since the victim is claiming amount more than the looted one, there is no share for the police even if they catch the thug, thus they don't wanna bother. The Nepal Police is the root of all the trouble in our country, directly or indirectly.
