I may be going that route.
But why shall someone let you know if they are going? I don't see any point doing that.

Obviously it looks like you nees some help from that person. If so, you should first let others know what you need. Then they may let you know, depending upon thier interest.
Otherwise why shall anyone disclose their itin and plans with anyone who they even don't know.
