Hi freinds,

Its two semester i am here in America. I tried too much but i couldnt find any campus job so i am not able to make my SSN till now. I am really tensed. Do you know if there is any cheap University where it is easier ( i know it is not easy) to get a campus job so that i can make my SSN?? Serious help needed.

come to Magnolia (Southern Arkansas University) you won't have a hard time getting ssn.

But i have a question.. What is the total cost for attending this University? I see the website of this University and see some In- State Tution Scholarship. What is the minimum requirement to get it? Do all transfer student get this? Please advice how much are you paying per year if you are studying in this University.

And if any of other freinds knows any other University then please drop your experience here.

It is relatively easier in Idaho State University, ID and Brigham Young University, UT

Don't go to Magnolia , Arkansas. I have been there and there is no chance of working outside. its all surrounded by Jungle.

University of Central Oklahoma of Oklahoma is very easy and cheap college too. you can work near by the college and in City (15 min from college ) also .

 

Yeah AR is a poor state with no opportunity to work outside... not much dhoti bhaiyas, gas-station....

I dont want to work outside. I want to make my SSN. Please suggest me if you know any cheap university where it is easier to get ON CAMPUS job so that we can make SSN.

Try Lindenwood University, Saint Charles MO

It's really easy to get your ssn if you agree to do ur Work and learn at Cafe.

Work and learn in cafe is real easy, you just have to pretend like you are working.

Ross ( Cafe manager will give you a letter within 5-7 weeks ). Then take a letter from international office and head to Saint Peters MO ( it's 15 min drive from school), and apply there. Within another 2-4 weeks u will have your ssn.

Why do you need ssn if you don't want to work outside. Yon don't need it at all. Most importantly you will get ssn only when you become green card OR professional job offer after your graduation.

If none of above applies in your case then there must be some fishy in your mind.

guaranteed job in cafeteria...16-20 hrs per week but almost no opportunity to work outside. tuition comes to around 3500 per sem after international aid. very good and quiet place to STUDY.its university town 65 miles away from Minneapolis, MN.

Thanks for your reply. I went through the webiste of this university. I saw this sentence in the FAQ page for the jobs "

Once you are hired, contact the Financial Aid Office to obtain a work authorization which permits you to work on campus. You must have a picture ID and a Social Security Card."

I dont have SSN till now. So please make me clear about this.

Also i dont see BS in Accounting in the major page. So is there no Accounting Major?

He/She/It can invest in Stocks..

He/She/It can buy his/her/its own car..

as far as i know they do not have accounting major. they do have some higher level accounting courses though.

regarding that FAQ....i am not sure what they are talking.....but the process here is to get a job in cafeterai, get a letter and go with the Intl advisor to apply for SSN. that how i got mine and im sure you will get urs too if u decide to come..........

to get a job (after you get SSN)....you have to go to financial aid and they will give you authorization to work. it will take no more than 2 minutes for that. then you have to take that and go to the employer and apply for job...thats what they are saying

Join UCO . i guarantee you can get SSN . Its cheap also.
