Oh no! No role for such murders (Did not we have enough of these at home?). I do not know what can they achieve by such acts. They can only promote hatredness to themselves from peace loving people ( Muslim or not). I hope there will be no backlash to Muslim minority at home. How will their families cope with this.

My sympathies to the bereaved families. The company that sent these victims need to be punished as they were lied about the final destination instead of Jordan.

Brutal sluaghter of peace loving, poverty desperate Nepalese will never go in vain. Iraqi people will have to pay the price for this brutality. These criminals needs to be brought to jaustice. Stupid and lame government apathy cost the Nepalese brothers their life, bitter truth cheap life and blood of a Nepali, it would have been such big news if any other nationals were involved except Nepalese.

Prakash Saran Mahat should immediately resign for his inability to resolve the crisis, if he thinks he is real Nepali and if he thinks he was in position to serve the country and people of Nepal. But, he is not human, he is there to earn money / make money, how can can he leave the positiion, that will be his hidden answer. His answer will be "I did not send them to Iraq, why should I be resigning, the companies who sent them are sole responsible". If he does not resign, he is just Bastard, nothing more nothing less. I wish he is not a Bastard, occupying Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I am also looking forward to hearing the Maoist Versions of blame. It will not be surprising to hear them blaming Government in their photocopies. They are part of blame, because if there was not this Maoist problem, I wonder how many of these 12 slain Nepalis would be prefering to travel to Iraq? GP

GP George W. Bush and the American administration also responsible for these deaths, apart from the maoists and the company who altered the victims' final destination. I am waiting to see the reaction of the other Nepalese in Nepal. Regarding, the resignation of PS MAHAT, you must be kidding.

Guys, first try to find out the reasons why they were killed. There were killed because they were Non-muslims. If they were some dudes from Pakistan, they would have been set free; even a US marine was freed because he was a muslim. So, stop this shit about Bush others and politicians being responsible for this. Remember, even big and powerful countries could not do anything when their citizens were taken hostage. Going by your argument, you could say that the whole foreign ministry was responsible for they provided them the passport. And which ariline was that that transported them from TIA to Mid east. Which bus drivers took them from their respective town to Kathmandu airport. They all should be held responsible. So, just stop this shit and try to focus on why they were killed. THEY WERE KILLED BECAUSE THEY WERE NON-MUSLIMS. My deepest condolences to the members of their families and may the lord provide them strength and support to deal with this atrocity.

Be peace with them! Let's grieve the death of fellow countrymen. And we still think Islam is a religion of peace? Take my words to the bank there are not a single muslim in the entire world (including those who call themselves Nepali) who is shedding any tears for any of the Nepalese who were killed. They always want the non-muslims to be killed/destroyed. Twelve Nepalese hostages beheaded in Iraq Rawya Rageh (AP) Dubai, August 31 Twelve Nepalese taken hostage in Iraq by the Islamist Army of Ansar al-Sunna group have been beheaded, according to a statement posted on an Islamist website on Tuesday. "We have carried out the sentence of God against 12 Nepalese who came from their country to fight the Muslims and to serve the Jews and the Christians ... believing in Buddha as their God," said a statement on Tuesday on the site by the military committee of the Army of Ansar al-Sunna. --------------------

I believe that these 12 men went to Iraq on their own will. They knew the dangers in Iraq for sure since they werenýt the first group of people to be kidnapped. There was no future in Nepal for these 12 men and I'm sure they went to Iraq just to earn money. I would personally blame the Nepalese govt...due to lack of opportunities in Nepal...Nepalese people go all over the world to seek education and money. They have to put up with a lot of shit from other people...especially India..if you have noticed how some Indians treat Nepali folks as Bahadurs and Nepali girls as hookers in some places in India. Many Nepali maids have to put up with a lot of shit from horny bastards in the Middle East....I'm sure you've heard the story of a nepali maid....in the middle east....raped and dumped in a water tank and how the dude walked away free.....they should do that to their own kind.....but again if someone was to commit this act in Saudi ......I'm sure they would loose their tool....What a shame! My deepest sympathy to all the burdened families.

The problem is Nepalis having to go to in drones into middle east because its impossible to make a living in their own village and I see that as politicians higher up incapable of helping them out, I donýt see any other countries leaving their village to go into muslim countries for menial labor in harsh conditions and people being lied to by companies resorting to making money practicing business akin to modern day slave labour. This is more of a direct result. The reason 12 young neplais who somehow got into the hands of Fanatic muslins and got killed because they said their god was Buddha is comparatively circumstantial. Would you still be less willing to blame the government if they were killed by heat stroke? That does happen, and folks still go there to feed their family. So its not just Muslims killing Buddhists but first chronic living condition at home and second unethical business practice springing up to exploit the poor because of the former. It might be muslims today and something/someone else tomorrow unless things are straightened out at home and we all know where the problem is.

Down with all the fundamentalist in the world. Down with the hardcores! Down with people who preach Christianity in Nepal. We don't need to change our religious beliefs in Nepal....Who is to say I am right and you are wrong..... Who can prove their God is the right god? Down with these religious fanatics in the Middle East who take the name of religion to kill. They will never prevail. ýAn eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.ý - Lex Talionis.....Mahatma Gandhi once said..."I reject violence, because the good that it appears to produce does not last long; in contrast the badness that it produces is long-lasting." ..... "Violence is the weapon of the weak; non-violence the weapon of the strong."

Dr. Mohammed Mohsin, a muslim and a highly regarded intellectual who held nation's one of the top posts as a speaker of the upper house and minister for countless times, has remained silent in this issue while he can't stop running his mouth against his own cabinet. There was no guarantee that he could have saved those 12 Nepalese, but as a muslim and a top official of the country, he should have appealed to those terrorists who ONLY listen to other muslims. As the whole country mourns with this tragic incident, he should be ashamed of being a muslim ý an irresponsible muslim of Nepal.
