आफ्नोपनि जिन्दगीको केहि समय बिराटनगरमा बित्यो। मेरो फेबरेट प्लेस भनेकै अरुण टाकिज! :पि, नयाँ फिलिम आयो कि त्यहिँ हो बास! टिकेट ब्लेक गर्नेहरु पनि दोस्त भइसकेका थिए। गोबिन्दाको फिलिम भनेपछि क्या भिड हुने भने। अनि फेरि दश गजा तिराको टाटीका घरहरु!! ओहो!! खूब रमाइलो हुने।

बिराटनगरको महेन्द्रचोकमा पाइने ठेलाको म:म: हे हे हे!! मासु कम प्याज धेरै! त्यहिपनि मिठो! हुन त धरानको सुङुर म:म: जस्तो मिठो त पाउन गार्हो हो बिराटनगरमा।

अर्को रमाइलो समय भनेको चाँहि लोडसेडिङ भएको बेला। गर्मी महिनामा लोडसेडिङ भएपछि घरमा बसि सक्नु हुन्न थियो। अनि त सबै बाहिर!! बिराटनगरको सुन्दरता हेर्ने त्यो अर्को मौका हो!!

अझ गुद्री(??) भन्ने ठाउँमा चिया एक को पाँच खाइन्थ्यो। एक कप किनेर पाँच भाग लगाउने!! हा हा हा!!

Wow, quite few form BRT. I did not born there but I have spent few years. Nothing really especial about BRT. I used to hate heat, Mosquitos and Chhor Bhaiyas. Himalaya and Jaljala were favourite halls. Momo, next to Himalaya hall was my fast food stop. Love Julebi at Jogbani. Enjoyed shopping in गुद्री and सोमबारे हटिया. I used to love ridding Rickshaw. Dipawali was always great. Every year, I used to spent a lot of money on firworks. On my first छठ्,छैठ् पूजा, I have stepped on human shiit couple times, so I never went there again. Damn, Bhihari chhor stole my bike and smuggled it in to Jogbani.

I am a proud Biratnagarian too....well we don't have any great landmark or amazing stuffs happening but I do love it for the fact that life there is so quite and people are laidback, you feel so much connected to people, friends and neighbours that you really don't miss the amenities of other bigger cities like Ktm....there are so many simple stuffs that you grow up when you are in Brt; it might look meager if you try to explain to some outsider but yet the gradiose nostalgia it creates wanna make you fly right back to Brt....damn its been three years....just miss it

मेरो घर बिराटनगर भए पनि धेरै बसे को त छैन । मुस्किल ले One year बसे होला । सुरु सुरु म त त्यहाँ को हावा पानि बुझ्नै time लाग्यो। गर्मि त ohoo कुरै नगरु। बाफ् रे बाफ् नुहाउन पाको छैन्, पसिना आइ हाल्ने। म झन् bhaisakh को बेला म परेको थिये। fan चलाउदा पनि तातो हावा आउने,म सधै half paint and ganji मा बस् थिये। बिराटनगर को famous भनेको मछर् मान्छे देख्यो कि टाउको माथि भुन् भुन् गर्दै आइ हाल्ने।

तिहार र होलि चै खुब् मन् पर्यो मलाइ। इन्द्र हल म soldier र हिमालय् म एउत फिल्म् (नाम् बिर्से) हेरे को थिये। त्यो पनि black मा। मेरो दाइ को घडि नै हरायो।

विसा को लागि document बनाउन जादा गको थिये बिराटनगर। गर्मि त ohoooo के हो के हो। हटिया गयेर चाट् खाये।खुब् मजा आको थियो।

Any graduates from Arniko Boarding School ? I am from 1995 Batch. if any one remembers, that batch was the unluckiest batch of all. I think 35 students failed and most of them in health education.
I love Biratnagar even-though i am not a native Biranagariya. I still miss Main road, Jaljala hall, Himalaya hall, Traffic chowk and beautiful chicks of BRT.
