Everybody, lets do it...Lets vote and make these cats win ala Prashant Tamang in II3.  Atleast these young guys play musical instruments.

I know the Nepali kids, Shikhar and Diwas (the rhythm and lead guitarists respectively) of Ayurveda and great bunch of lads these cats are.  They performed in NYC opening for 1974AD back in 2003 and they rocked the audience and left us all impressed.  This band is quite a phenom in Ithaca, NY and I wish only the best for these guys!

I just did. The recording is really good, they sound awesome. I do not know these guys, just supporting my fellow Nepali. I know they probably hate to be labeled this but they sound more "TOOL" to me. What ya say?

For all who ask, There are 2 Nepali kids in Ayurveda.  A band heralded by an indie review as the next "System of The Down"!

The 2 Nepali cats are : Diwas: For all in Budhanilkanta, you'd prolly know him.  His mom is a teacher there and he was the lead guitarist of Albatros (?) back in the days.  And the other cat is Shikhar: His mom is a Professor at Ithaca College and he has lived in Ithaca, NY for a major portion of his life.

I applaud these kids who've taken the unconventional route to fulfilling their childhood dream...They did well in college (Cornell, an ivy league and Ithaca) and could've settled for any Tom, Dick and Harry's $50K/per year job but they rather chose to keep on Rocking in the Free World.  A salute to these kids who I hope one day would reach the pinnacle!!

Kool stuff...I voted ......Thanks for bringing this band  to our notice..Im a huge Metal fan myself and will listen to them and look for them in music stores. And it makes it even special because of the Nepalese involved in it. and above all they do have that talent that deserve to win. Good luck.
