Well, if you think like, I am Nepali keta, everyone works for dhoti, I came from poor country, I have no choice..then your mind acts like that..

yea.. right said gurl... i worked in couple of different stores(mostly Retails and Insurance companies) and neither of mine Boss/Manager or even coworkers were dhotis and yes i don't have papers..

I have never work for dhoti while in college. Worked at college restaurant while in school and work in Ocean city in summer. I could manage my living that time. now situation might be different.

What difference does it make whether u work at a dhoti's gas station or a gas station owned by 'someone other than dhoti'... some people here are bragging about working at a retail/insurance as if that's a better place than a dhoti's gas station... get a life... be proud that u worked and weren't stealing/cheating money from others to pay for ur living... just fyi, i never worked at a dhoti's store either but I don't feel like I did better than others that worked at a dhoti's store... and, this "Sexy In Sari" individual always have some smart ass comments to put others down... coming here and bragging about working at Discover Channel... so, what's the big deal... I'll bet u that I've a better position than u in DC... I work for a federal govt and my title/job is much more prestigious than urs... so, please come to a place like 'sajha' only when u've better things to say to help other Nepali rather than mock them... and lastly, if SIS does have such a precious job, I don't think she'll have time to respond to every thread in sajha and specially put comments like hers... someone who's in a better position can't have that sort of attitude... i know that.

Having said that, this is an open forum, so I guess u can just ramble ur mouth which only proves who u really are rather than what u say u r :) ... just remember, KARMA!!!!

my husband is so called "dhoti" and proud of him!! I think nepalis have too much negative stereotyping about them. But it is true that indians are business minded and are forceful when it comes to making money...
