I am starting this thread to know where the TPS application is going and how long is it taking to get approved. If you go to USCIS processing time for nebraska, first of all , TPS is not even in the list (i-821) and second of all the dates are so out of date and updated every 1.5 months or 2. So just creating this thread to get a live tracking based upon others application and approval date. Hope others will help. My case: Application received: Dec 11 2015 (TPS only) Bio metrics date: Jan 12 2016 TPS: Not yet approved

@taremam_bhai: Initially I applied for TPS only on December. Last week of March, I applied for TPS EAD. I received notice (April 2nd week) via text that my TPS EAD case is received but haven't received the notice on mail yet. So, I don't know if they will schedule for biometric again.

@Pieceofshit: Thanks bro! I have appoinment this monday for infopass session, and I have few questions to ask you folks about it whoever had/have experience about info pass 1. Does infopass session have all the updates about our case like which officer is handling, the reason behind it is pending 2. Do they have the authority to contact the officer who is responsible for my case and consult about the case 3. What information should i interrogate with them during the session? Thank you,

@Taremam_bhai: I personally do not have any infopass experience but what I have heard from other colleague is that they have some sort ability to call USCIS service center (like Nebraska) and find out details on what is holding up your case. Hopefully, some other sajha folks who been through this will put some input before Monday. Btw, Taremam_bhai--I received my receipt of TPS EAD on mail. It just says that case is received--doesn't say anything about biometric.

@cybro: this is what they sent me in my email today: U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show that the biometric requirement has been fulfilled with the photo that was submitted with the application. If further biometrics are needed, the reviewing officer will schedule them at the appropriate time.

Like I said earlier I had infopass session today and just came from the session to lemme tell you my experience. I really felt it like nepali sarkari office to be honest, my case was already outside normal proc time but they said its still in 6 months processing time. The asian guy who served me was new looks like and didnt knew much about the case and looks like he called in USCIS dept to ask for the case and that was it. He limited the information and looks like he had limited knowledge about the case. Nothing helped so far. Jay Nepal

Got info from attorney Pending case: Some Nepal TPS application receiving EAD under C19 (which is Pending TPS application) if application 1st time reviewed file looks oky but still need more time to review. Then they are issuing EAD Under C19. Application that is approving is on 1st look clearly show person was here before June 24 then they approving Ead and TPS at same time. In my opinion is what uscis doing is they have time frame to review the file. Within that time if file looks everything good then they approve TPS n EAD. if file looks good but still need more time to review file then they issue EAD under C19 , hopefully they will approve soon those files. They are not in rush. TPS is for stay here in US safe. Which is they are Issuing Ead that’s good enough to work and Id purpose and pay taxes
