It's a new day ... one more day to go for the weekend.

Jack - Nice pics there. I think Kathmandu is a beautiful city that just hasn't been managed well. It's nice to see the greenery in those pictures. Almost like finding hidden treasures amidst all the chaos. It gives you hope that if people can get their act together we might some day be able to live in a truly cleaner and greener city.

Rocky- absolutely right..dust and noise are the speciality of Ktm and it has not changed yet,,,sorry to say though....and bagmati is still dirty..the project has not started yet I think.

Brig Ma'am - I got the book as a gift but haven't opened it up yet. Will check it out. What's next on your reading list?

Jack - True, innit? I have my own set of complaints about the city which are not too far off from those frequently mentioned by many people . But at the same time, I am a bit tired of hearing all this whining about what is wrong with Kathmandu and what is wrong with Nepal from people who are going to do nothing to fix it. Anyways, let's not go down that path now it's for another place and another time... he he. Please post more pictures if you have them (might need to re-size them a bit if you know how to)

Captain I will definately post more pictures. I am not much into computer but I think I do know how to do it. If I cant there is always help available. So, lets see how it goes for me.

I totally agree with you there Capt. saab. I think even with all the dirt and traffic, it's the most beautiful city in the whole world (as if I've seen the whole world :) Khas ma, because of those dirt we have stronger immunity ni..(alchi manche haru ko bahana k, LOL)
