I am starting this thread to know where the TPS application is going and how long is it taking to get approved. If you go to USCIS processing time for nebraska, first of all , TPS is not even in the list (i-821) and second of all the dates are so out of date and updated every 1.5 months or 2. So just creating this thread to get a live tracking based upon others application and approval date. Hope others will help.

My case:
Application received: Dec 11 2015 (TPS only)
Bio metrics date: Jan 12 2016
TPS: Not yet approved

After so much calling, and much to do; Finally my case got approved after 9 months.

Case pending chha bhane out of status hundaina bro. Hopefully you get it soon. Tara hypothetically speaking, let's say someone's case was pending, their visa expired, and then unfortunately their TPS got denied, then I think that counts as out of status retroactively. Not 100% sure but this is what I've heard. If you get approved eventually though, no issues. Also, do you have TPS EAD?

@tymes, you will be out of status if your tps does not get approved before your visa expires but your presence here is legal when your case is pending. I hope your case gets approved soon.

July 8 2015 application received, May 31 2016 TPS case was approved. It took me almost a year. So sometimes it was hard for me to be patience but it was the only option. Thank you everyone for posting and good luck to the ones who are still waiting.

Just FYI.

Almost after 11 months; it been a really long wait.
On July 17 they received my application. Bio-metric on Aug 20.

TPS approved on June 3. I did not applied for EAD; just TPS.

Goodluck to everyone still waiting.

did any one call to expedite? does it work?? does calling again and again work??

They have been approving in droves lately (after june). Any one who still got pending should get theirs approved by the end of this month.

long awaiting period ends: Tps Approved on June 13. Finger print fee received on August 20.no ead applied

mero tps thyakkai 7 month bhayo ahile samma approval letter ako chaina. ahile samma nebraska center ma processing matrai bhancha. tara maile ead chai apply garkeo chaina. aja bharkhar uscis lai phone gare ani unarule auta naya case number deko cha. they told me to wait for 15-30 days vaneko cha. anyway maile travel document pani apply garna khojeko tara uscis officer le pahila tps approve hunu parcha ani matrai travel document apply garna paincha bhancha. bhane pachi without tps approval maile travel document garna napaune? koi hunhuncha mitra haru , yeso jankari pauna hajur!

I need some suggestions:
Maile pani EAD apply nagari TPS file gareko, still pending nai cha. DEC 15 ma finger print fee received bhanne update cha. Tyo bela ma OPT ma thiye and company le H1B file gardine wala thiyo ra gardiyo pani. Unfortunately, H1B denied bhayo. aaba ahile OPT pani sakiyo, back to F1 maintain garnu parne bhako cha. Yesto bela ma maile ahile TPS ko EAD apply garna milcha ki mildaina?
USCIS lai call garera sodheko, pending mai cha bhane apply garna milcha bhanyo but k k documents rakhnu parne ramro sanga bhanena.

k k documents haru rakhera apply garna milcha.??

@@Logistic I need we both are on the same page, I had presented by I-797 that you might have gootten one TPS and one EAD. You might have filled up form for EAD too when applying TPS so might want to include I797 EAD and TPS. I also sent the new EAD application I765 application. Send I765 application with I797 notice you received from USCIS (copy of those xerox)

In short:
1. New EAD Application
2. I797 qty 2 (TPS and EAD notices)
3. Check amount paid to USCIS

I sent those things to USCIS when I applied by TPS EAD this february, I already have my EAD on hand. My OPT Ead expired on June itself.
