I am starting this thread to know where the TPS application is going and how long is it taking to get approved. If you go to USCIS processing time for nebraska, first of all , TPS is not even in the list (i-821) and second of all the dates are so out of date and updated every 1.5 months or 2. So just creating this thread to get a live tracking based upon others application and approval date. Hope others will help.

My case:
Application received: Dec 11 2015 (TPS only)
Bio metrics date: Jan 12 2016
TPS: Not yet approved

@Taremam bhai: When did you receive your EAD? I am still waiting on my TPS (applied mid december) and EAD (applied April first week).

I am on the exact same boat, applied for TPS on Dec 2015, did the finger prints then too. Applied for an EAD with TPS on first week of April.

Unfortunately h1B didnt go through so now i am waiting. It has been over six months for TPS application so I have called and they gave me a service request number, after 15 days came back with a very vague message saying they are still revewing it and need more time. I called again and they said I could do another service request in 30 days.Looks like a never ending cycle.

They told me they can't send the EAD before the TPS is finalized either.

Anyone still waiting for Approval of TPS since July 2015. I have been waiting for almost a year and no decision yet. Had requested several service request but nothing seems to be working. Any recent approval???

i got my TPS approved on June 29 th . i have applied a TPS ON august . 16th of June USCIS asked for additional evidence . i sent my expediences on 27th of june . they received on 28th june and case was approved on 29th of June ....i hope TPS will renew ...

EAD card Received: Dec 4 2015
TPS Approved date :07/19/2016
I did Ombudsman (6/28/2016) and Case Inquiry (07/07/2016)

Phew!!! बल्ल बल्ल case approve भयो ब्रो हरु। Apply गरेको September 2015 मा। EAD कारीब २ हफ्ता भित्रै हात पर्‍यो। OPT त्यागेर TPS EAD मा दर्हो काम गर्न थालियो। July 14 मा बल्ल आएर case approved भयो ब्रोहरु।

हुन त मेरो case अरु ब्रोहरु को भन्दा फरक होला, किन भने मैले EAD तुरुन्तै पाको थिए। धेरै दाजुभाईहरु ले त्यो EAD नि पाउनु भाको छैन। सबैलाई शुभकामना छ है मेरो।

Approved भाकै दिन लेख्छु भनेको मुजी यो साझामा के के encryption testing भनेर बर्बाद!!

Yes i did. Two service request, ombudsman and contacted all the government official i could. I probably have to do all that again since my EAD is still pending. When was your case received?

Even i made a expedite request in June 1st week 2016, Its been 45 days but heard nothing so far. I went for an infopass appointment today frens.. It was such a worst experience he was telling me no one gets EAD until your TPS is approved .. OH god sajha.com log gaar bhannu melena. That person hardly knew any information about TPS . Baru call garda USCIS ko manchey haru lai badi information huncha. So for me infopass was just waste of time.. I applied TPS on October 1st week 2015 EAD on March 18 2016 both cases pending.

Regarding Ombudsman?? I really have no idea what it is?? I would be glad if anyone provides more info on that.

I know many friends who got their EADs before their TPS was approved. However, they had applied for both TPS and EAD together. Maybe because you applied EAD later it's causing issues. Hopefully you get it soon.

Just an advice to all folks visiting the board, if TPS gets renewed, which it will very likely be, apply for EAD with TPS even if you do not intend to use it. Just having TPS and TPS EAD does not violate another status if you do not work using the TPS EAD. So no harm in applying for both except for the fee.

I don't know if you looked at my previous post on this thread about my experience in infopass as they want to share as less information as possible. Seems like you applied for the EAD case on March so it is somewhat 90 days for processing or earlier I believe. However, I believe you might have EAD on hand by august. I strongly suggest you to go with Ombudsman as it might help in your case atleast to get your things approved little early than decision date by USCIS. I would strongly suggest that!

Pieceofshit bro- i don't know what helped what didn't. I did everything possible except info-pass so if you haven't i will strongly advice to try everything. You never know.
