Nepalese Kings are considered incarnations of Lord Vishnu.Hinduism in Nepal is a formal tradition that a presence of King and Queen for rituals festival are important and have been purified by day long since.........Mahabharata periods.If not be mistaken at present  now comes to the number 13th King`s.

 Only from the King with full formal royal dress - code attire`s, head-geared with crown jewels, also attached wowenly with birds of paradise long white feathers and tomb, slip with gold plated khukri/the knife....proudly the so prestiged title called " Shree Pach Bhirendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev"..{as wondrous picturestique!} will stand  pride and raised his hand  with his pointed fingers up and proudly  adress " We All Nepalese Are One"....whilst the Nepalese manche will abidely replied in honour to the Kings calling with full spirits of love to nations.. is a very majestic scenery not to be miss for sure.Its Legacy of the nations, prides and the royal constitutions is a unique treasure for the country of Nepal with a long associated history to the Hindus and world religous civillazation. Thats prides.

Kingdom of Royal institution with democracy system blend well as be seen in most government in the world. Sampled with the England, they had a King with supreme constitutionals governing,executing to legislative councils and stand rules with democracy system. Dont even have the feeling to abolished the Royal institution as it become part of the Nepalese legend and nation pride`s history....

Being king of nepal is really tough, and challenging . He accepted, and tried to make country better on his own way, but nobody supported him. If some neta's have supported him, he wouldn't have choose giri or thapa's. But bad luck, nobody even tried to understand him. His family is safe, does this mean, he's a killer? Why is he not doing anything, while everybody expecting something from him, He wants to get rid being nepali king. Everybody loves king birendra, and hates Paras, that's the only cause that everybody hates gyanendra. I prefer king gyanendra, but I can't see Paras as a king.

Wow I can't beleive that Nepal Royal institution has lots of support even in this small mass (sample),  so why Nepal is no more Kingdom or why it has become secular I don't understand but its really sad. I was badly hurt when they announced Nepal as a secular nation. Nepal's monarchy did not started with Shah Dynasty it has a long history since Licchivi period. It is time for New Nepal. I just wish Royal family have played constructive roles in the lives of Nepali just like Kings and Royal families of Thailand, England, Japan, and other Scandanavian countries. The only thing I can think of is they are head of Pashupatinath Fund, Redcross Fund, World Heritage Fund, and Lumbini Trust Fund.

I have yet to see One good Development during the King's reign. I heard King Mahendra was a visionary leader. Other than that, it has been a huge burden economically to Nepal. King G tried to rule directly. People were hoping some changes would come. But he messed up badly. Everyone thought he would turn things around. Actually, NONE OF THE LEADERS ARE WORTH MENTIONING. They are all corrupted and are hard qualified as a leader.

I just feel there has been lot of discrimination and continue to be in the name of Hinduism and the King. We have to give opportunities to all different race and ethnicity. Economic Development is impossible under the old system.With secular and new Nepal, there is opportunities for eveyrone. Every Nepali is treated equally.

 

 

 

as long as there is race, ethnicity, language, skin color, rich, poor, lazy, hardworking, occupation, class, geographically challenged locations of dwelling, nature, weather, entertainment, RELIGION, tall, short, fat,ugly, goodlooking, evil, good, neutral, healthy, sick etc etc etc etc....................YOU CAN NEVER CREATE AN EQUAL NATION............................OR CAN EVERY BE TREATED EQUALLY.........you learn to live and co-exist together.......acknowledging each others presense and RESPECTING or IGNORING the "OTHER"..........who doesnt follow your way of life. You cant force it on anyone...........I do believe that given the oppertunity everyone can achieve their dreams............but a bus driver should not complain what a Doctor makes.....you get my point...........The government should be as such ........Free Education and health...............very strict rules and law........but a democratic nation....just dont break the law............ Encourage local companies and businesses to focus on national resources like water and tourism.....utilize aid money to build roads, electricity, schools, hospitals etc etc.......provide farmers an fair trade market. encourage evry field of occupation .............Create a very systematic government and society../.encourage country to devolopement and protect public and private properties...........dont destroy them everytime there is a riot..............create environment where people do not go abroad but come back to contribute their knowledge ...................I read hongkong 100 yrs ago was a small fishing village........Look at it now just one century later......................so I Believe Nepal can Be better.....only if we work together.........The Glue to unity for our country is OUR KING.

I don't understand what Bathroomcoffee means by repeatedly saying that King  Gyanendra has done nothing to Nepal. Give me an honest answer on who allowed him to work smoothly as a head of state. Dude, king is a man too, like you and me. They never boasted themselves as a god ( It's the media themselves who raise this issue so as to portray him as a negative figure in the international arena). Unless people support, no king can do anything. And the other important issue, king should not do anything controversial unless the situation compels him to do so. They are and should stay as a national figure of unity, even for those who dislike monarchy. When the king took the executive power, I believe he  was compelled to do so, because the country was lacking the elected people's body for a long time and the parties could not come with a consesus vision. Probably, he vowed hundreds of time that he was there solely to conduct the election and bring the derailed democracy to the track. You know the remaining story, so why you are ruthlessly attacking on the king? The king tried to his best but it was us, like you and me  who could not come forward to support him in this endeavour. My point is that it was not the king, but  us who could not fulfill our responsibility as a patriot. Dude, wake up before we all lose our nation. It wonna come back if we lose once. The Indians are orchestring all these things, because they believe that Nepal is a leftover from their mainland when the British unified their Hindustan. It's not only the RAW that thinks so, but most Indian public hardly believe that Nepal is a sovereign country. It was manifested in Madhuri's scandal too. Even here in USA, Indian behaves as if Nepal is a state like Bengal or Punjab. Don't argue that it's hard for India to annex at this century of globalization. They are soon going to be a super power and above that it's the over a billion market. Hardly, any country can risk opposing India for a FISTE counrty like Nepal. Their main aim at the moment is to destabalize the country and overthrow the monarchy so as to declare it as failed state. The monarchy is the only Institution that can give us a distinct identity as a sovereign Nepali. But knowingly or unknowingly, some people( because referendum will keep the monarchy in Nepal)  are working for the Indian interest in the name of democracy.

I had expressed my views in another thread. Congressi and maoest has not given the right to decide what would be done to king. Neither we had given the rights to kill innocent people.

If we want to go through demecratic way lets have vote, vote by peoples and see what people wants. Not what Prachand and Girija and others want.

People has rights to have rally in demand of keeping king as others. They are mandale, so what they have the same rights as we other political party belivers have.

I like some of the points raised by TRISUL. 

King goes or stays should not be a decision of handful people, let's have a vote. We should have our voice on this subject. Maoest should not be getting what he wants. We do not need maoest
