College football season has already kicked off and I thought we would see LSU_tiger's thread that might go like "College Football Action Pick'em Contest 2008". But we don't see no sign of LSU_tiger anywhere huh! Is he is in estivation or what? LSU_tiger, its about time that you come out of slumber and start the pick 'em contest  

# 1 USC and # 5 Ohio State game is going to be the one most of us if not all looking forward to. This season USC has played just one game, whooping 52-7 win over Virginia that propelled it from No. 2 spot to the top spot. While Ohio State dropped to fifth after beating Youngstown State and clinching struggling win over Ohio. Was it look-ahead game for the Buckeyes, or are they really that mediocre? Or was USC win over Virginia legitimate or did a pumped-up USC thrashed a bad team? I believe Saturday's game will answer all these questions and much more. 

We played really badly...It was awful  lost 52-7...I was there....could not see past half-time........

Lol Mc lovin:  How does a team as good as LSU was last year lose to KY and Arky? How did a out-manned Bama team take you to wire last year? The game winner against AU last year was the worst call of the year but he got away with it. ...what if that ball had fallen incomplete?  AU almost always performs in big games. I think the most optimistic LSU fans are at best cautiously optimistic when it comes to Auburn. You've had some success running the ball against some sub-standard defenses and I don't think that's indicative of what LSU can expect to do against Auburn.

Saturday game will say if the Miss State's defense is really that good or Auburn's offense is really that bad. Auburn vs LSU game is always a struggle no matter how each team performs before the game. Based on talent level I don't think Auburn will be able to handle LSU defense what I think is the best defense in the SEC. Playing against LSU this week is not going to be an easy task unless Auburn coach has something really surprising up his sleeve.Having said that the game is at Auburn this season, and the home team has won eight in a row. This one will come down to defense, and LSU is a little bit better on that side of the ball. Hope Auburn tigers don't get blized by another tigers in their home game!!
