I had expressed my views in another thread. Congressi and maoest has not given the right to decide what would be done to king. Neither we had given the rights to kill innocent people.

If we want to go through demecratic way lets have vote, vote by peoples and see what people wants. Not what Prachand and Girija and others want.

People has rights to have rally in demand of keeping king as others. They are mandale, so what they have the same rights as we other political party belivers have.

I like some of the points raised by TRISUL.

King goes or stays should not be a decision of handful people, let's have a vote. We should have our voice on this subject. Maoest should not be getting what he wants. We do not need maoest tp

you nailed it Trishul......you hit the spot...... As for that dumbazz bathroomcoffee.he is an Indian.....No wonder why he hates every Nepali aspect and fails to see the real picture. I believe that the only one who cannot be bought into selling the nation to India is The King. The rest will not refuse  Indian GHUS and a swissbank account and luxury in some Indian estate after Nepal is taken over By India. ONLY the KING has his personal  intrest In Nepal because Its his country and his ancestors with our forefathers built it. These NETAS are Indian pawns and can be bought and sold anyday. Bathroombrains cannot comprehend the larger picture.

Gyaney had absolute power over Nepal for a year. During that time ....did he solve any of Nepal's problem ? Nope.

There will always problems of one kind or another. An able leader would solve whatever comes his way.

I am not talking about myth of him being god and crap. I am talking about him as a leader of our country.

He tried clinging to his throne untill the International Community and his own citizens pressured him to step down(cause it was not solving any of Nepal's problems).

And India will never take over Nepal they already have Pakisthan, Tamil Tigers, Khalisthan, Hndus and Muslims to worry about ... they dun need Nepali Republic tigers to add to that.

And Mr Mad Diggidy Dawg.....ha ha ha Anyone and everyone who does not agree with his veiws is a Dhoti. ha ha ha Just shows the level of his intelligence. he he he Like a Juvi

it doesn't matters who is there, who is not. Nepalese are privately smart and publicly dumb thats the main reason.

We think having democracy, we will be handed with a magic stick and all problems in past will be solve stirring the magic wand.

All party politicians tried to capture their seat and work in favour of interest. Did any one showed and showing National Interest??? King has some National interest, as long as there is Nepal he would be the king (in past).

Why the Girija had to dissolve , even Congress was in majority???? Why the leading party could not solve the problem will alliance with other parties???? No one has National interest other than personal and party. There was a loophole in construction and why they did not try to fix it???

Now we wanted him to solve the problems when took the power. We are EXPERT to blame others other than to take the responsibility. After taking the power asked to have the election, why non parties ready to participate. They did not see benefiting participating in the election and boycotted.

I am not saying king is flawless, he has done mistakes but more mistakes and unforgivable mistakes had done by ruling party then and now. Now Nationality is in stake.

I am afraid , How long we will be able to say we are Nepali and our country is Nepal. We will be treated as slave of Indians if we became one of the state of India. We will be named BAHADUR as we said them dhoti.

In fact, Trishul raised a good question. People, like you and me, dint support the king in his efforts to rescue the country!!! What is the use of playing our old teeth now while we dint support the king in opportune moment? Lagan pachhi ko pote ko ke kam bhayo ra? Or do we still believe King can rescue the country intead of himself being rescued? I believe it is a matter of dim and distance. Once upon a time, there was a king namely Gyanedra, who became king of Nepal after the then real king had been murdered!

King is defiantly good for Nepal I will give my 100% support Nepal is desh full of roumers. and people like BathroomCoffee  are like vendas. when one venda falls it takes all the venda with it . People like BathroomCoffee  don’t understand the first meaning of the Freedom and democracy that he is talking about. I don’t think he has even lived single day in Nepal.

King G try to do something for the people and the country vendas and asshole like BathroomCoffee  didn’t let him do it to full fill their own swartha..... BathroomCoffee  and people like him you need to wake up and smell the coffee don’t just sit in the bathroom and smell the shit and think its coffee....I guess after all you people are like vendas...

Seriously any bodies remember how it was 20 years ago when king was ruling……..

All I have to say was it was great

-Education was great

-Economy was growing

-Sports were at its best.

-Road and transportation new road were being built and transportation system was at its best. look at it now sajha bus looks like cabard trail bus looks like junk.

Just look at pictures 20 years before and 20 after I don’t even have to say anything.

India wont take over Nepal physically that’s true but technically its already been taken over.......didn’t you guys hear about the incident were Indian people came across the boarder to protest and left beating Nepali citizens that’s just a simple example of it....

Read this bathroom shit coffee..

This following article is written by Prem Raj:

India fully understands the next world war if erupts this will be basing on capturing the water resources of any country. This may not happen even but yet the same concept has been materialized by the Fox arresting the water sources of Nepal, Pakistan, Bangla Desh & Bhutan to turn their land arid & create energy crisis. This in Nepal is being done on behest of the multi party rule which has already foregone its rights in favour of the Fox to rule its silver wealth (handing over of remaining rivers to India) and it is being done solely on the basis of petty gains of sticking on to the government chairs, that too at the cost of national interests. It has also been learnt through reliable sources that the eight party government is all set to gift the Arun-3, Upper Karnali & Tamakoshi hydropower projects to India, how enslaved the leadership of Nepal is which is always ready to sell its motherland.

The people of Nepal are seriously facing the crisis of petro-products due to the non payment of billion of rupees to IOC (Indian Oil Corporation) which has cut down the supply of products to Nepal. India compels Nepal to purchase the products only from her so the government of Nepal acting like a slaved nation bow before her acceding to its dictates thus not even allowing its private sector to import the petro-products from any other country on a much cheaper rates to break the hegemony of India. The leadership of Nepal is fully involved in the kick-backs & is now bent upon inviting the private sector of India to provide petro-products to Nepal. The very precious assets of Nepal are being hijacked by India like the Bansbari Leather Shoe Factory is under the feet of Indian ownership & the tragic part is the story of a Royal Nepal Air Corporation which is withering due to the cold weapon (commission accrued) used by the governmental instruments of Nepal.

It is very strange with all the miseries having faced by Nepal lashed out by the Fox is still harbouring the Indians to accord them the rights of citizenship. Tomorrow these Indians will mount on the back of Nepal to act like a parasite thus eating the total economy of the country.

Madhav Kumar & Ram Chandra Poudel's daughters are becoming doctors by the kind courtesy of Lainchour Durbar without spending a penny of their own. Many political leaders are running behind the Indian Diplomats for want of the bone to be thrown by them. The RAW has gone so deep in to the secret files of Nepalese ministries like Home, Defence, Water Resources, Commerce,

Communication & the Foreign Affairs, which have been presented in a plate by the respective heads of the ministries, how pitiable it is & how tragic it is! These Nepalese officials are receiving additional pay from the Lainchour Durbar and lead an aristocratic life style. This also applies to the journalists in Nepal who work for the Fox to get money in reward.

In 1989, the Indians came up with the idea of bringing Nepal in to the security umbrella which was strongly opposed by the King Birendra. But now the mess has been created in the name of democracy to safeguard the interests of India. Now the Indian embassy has provided 3 million rupees in aid of forming a Madhesh Brigade being launched in Terai by the Rajendra Mahoto group of Nepal Sadbhavana Party (NSP) as logistics support. More over India is preparing to take and organize training of 200 fighters that too on its own soil.

In any direction the fox likes Nepal to dance that has to go on and on until meeting death or there is still time to pave its own path to liberate from the shackles & touch the morning star to illuminate the lost beauty of Nepal.

If I am not mistaken, Indian people came to Nepal to protest the dethroning of the kingship in Nepal. There are some interest groups in India who want to protect the King.

Based on the debate and discussion, I understand that most of the people are worried about that India would take over Nepal or Nepal will lose its identity without the King.

I believe none of the above doubts have ground to support. The end of the monarchy is not as a result of the whim of GPK, MKN or Prachand nor is at the will of India. As we have seen, none of them is charismatic leader either. But this is the result of time, situation and circumstances. If they were not in the helm of the party leadership, someone else like A or B or C would take the responsibility to lead the time ( I mean aspiration of people). Therefore, we have nothing to worry about. But what we should worry about is Nepal should not remain in status quo. Should we protect the king for ages in the pretext that India would take over Nepal or Nepal would lose its identity? But for how long................ a year........... a decade............ 25 years........ 50 years.......... a century?? When do we prepare our so-called leadership to protect the country in the shadow of monarchy? Do we have any answer?  If monarchy should go soonar or later, then why not now itself? Why should we always wait for the benefit of others? How long we are going to display our hollow indentity hiding our empty stomach and bear body?

Just see what happens what will happen without the institution of monarchy in Nepal. Monarchy is an important link and bridge between our closest ally and economically very important neighbour.

There are 4 kinds of Republicans in Nepal.
1.They have no clue why they need Republic and what is republic in the first place - Most of the people falls in this category. They never voiced for or against republic.
2.These are true Republicans. They want republic for change. They are idealist and thinks Nepal can progress without king but are innocent enough not to notice the foreign interference. They blame anything and everything for this institution Even the era after 1990.There are handful of them and they hold very less power.ex:Gagan Thapa and Pradeep Giri.
3.These are fake Republicans .They just want republic cause it makes them one step closer to their ultimate goal of making Communist Republic. There biggest obstacle on the way in monarchy. However they are not like fouth category.
4.These are real rats ,The will change their position depending upon time and place. They hold power in Nepal and Nepali but are servants of India. They are singing songs of republic cause India told them too .Otherwise they would still be kissing royal ass. They have no morals no ideals. Many high ranking SPA leaders fall under this category.

Whether Monarchy remains or gone.South Asian like to be slave of some family .May be not Shah may be Koirala or May be Dahal.Just like Gandhi and Bhuto. So why the fu(k make new kings?

But I think there are there kinds of views emerging out:

1. India Fobia: These kinds of views see India is the only obstable for Nepal. They don't care about the   internal problems, our strengths or weaknesses.

2. India Mania: These kinds of views see without India nothing is possible in Nepal. They also ignore our own mights.  These and the erlier views are dominant in Nepalese context.

3. Independent: Given the globalization at its height, we should analyze and solve our problem on our own and should maintain cordial relationship with neighbors and other countries. These views are very little heard and like receptive in present context.

Republicanism is the second thought. There are two trenches in republicanism:

- Status quoists:  They only look back. They rememeber what was there in the past- economy, security situation, education system, etc and enjoy the relic. They do not like to see the future and ignore about the prospects and potentials. They ingnore what changes were brought post 1990. They think people have gone out of the country just because of our internal problem. They close their eyes and do not even see the effects brought about by the globalization. They don't even try to see why Chinese and Indians have spread all over the world and progressed (were there no opportunities internally?). They think Nepal should always remain in the same position as it has been. They don't like to even hear about changes, revolutions, jumps............ they don't understand, change is not as smooth as status quo; transition is tough, bitter and hard; they think leaders should always be charismatic; leaders should be like god; leaders should not make any mistake (as they believe King is the incarnation of god and he is immaculate/perfect, he does not make any mistake); they belive Paras Nrhitya is Bhagwan ko Lila, etc etc .......................................................

Progressive Some are very extremist, some are centrist and some are blurred (in the sense they are not clear as to whether they have held the right end of the stick or not and may flip the path any time). They believe in change; they think change is the only truth. They believe in :ghoda chadne ladchha/no work no mistake; no matter how bitter is the change and the transition, it should be brought into the logical end; no coutry has progressed in status quo; we have lots of potentials and prospects, we have to tap the potential and covert it into physical reality through proper internal management and with the help of international friends; let's move ahead; we have to emerge out of our the vicious poverty cycle any way no matter whatever obstacles come in our way. It is also enqually true that different people have different perspectives on Republicanism (as Imi has pointed out). We have to decide which thought is important and suitable for Nepalese context in the arena of Progressive field not in the status quo. We can not go back....................................................

This is my understanding.

We need a good, powerful, and democratic king who is under the constitution. The king should not be engaged in the business and commerce for personal profit. Kingdom for Nepal is far better than the government formed by the killers and immoral politicians. If the king comes clean giving all the businesses he has to the nation and seriously wants to work for the betterment of Nepal's sovereignty, I will still vote for him. His son needs to be cleaner. There should be a committee that will decide who will be the future crown prince. All of his family should be under the law, not above it.
