Need for a PRO- Pahadiya political force ?
We all have been following the recent political development in the country and no matter what I am getting frustrated day by day. And recent election of Vice-president is kind of a last drop.
What I am proposing and working towards is a kind of Pro- Pahadiyas political force. Now its been crystal clear that so called “ national parties “ are incapable of protecting our interests , and not only that they are even afraid to raise the voice.
So I would like to put some questions here for the discussion.
Do we need a pro-pahadiya political force?
What kind of force ? A political party? A pressure group? A secret lobby group? A secret intellectual think tank?
Do you think that a equally strong but opposite political force to neutralise the “Madhesikaran†, will be necessary? Good for country?
Will such political force be viable in the long term and be effective , without any foriegn support? What are the possibilites or non-possiblities?
Would you financially support these kind of forces ?

NRN is nothing but a group of opportunists. So, I don’t expect anything from that organization.
I am thinking about starting my own party, will have the website soon. Care to join?

NiloAkash bro if you are serious about starting something that is great...... You can count me in but if its similar to what we have discussed in this thread and about development of Nepal than why not just join us instead of creating new org....

Nepal_hero bro,
Sorry for the late response. i was stuck with smth.
Currently, I am more into saving the habitat of Nepal's Wildlife. One of the proposals just got denied from Wildlife Conservation Society, US.
But when I was in Nepal with my Advisor, we visited a stream in Malekhu for geology study. It is a perennial stream even though the water is low during dry season. He suggested that we could plant a machine (I forgot the name but I can ask him) right in the middle of the river and generate electricity. As u know we built concrete dams that has several -ve impacts on the environment but this one do not require such contruction. This is feasible and can generate enough power for the whole nation starting from a village. I don't know how much it cost etc but I can find out. I went to Ghandruk and saw this possibility or we can contact Pun dai and start in his village and go from there.
But the reality is that I am just a poor grad student who has 3 jobs and supprt family back home and here. I just want to graduate and find a good job and continue working towards this dream of mine. And I would need friends like u along the way so we will keep in touch.
This is why I asked what NRNs are doing cause they have the patta as a strong weapon to start smth in Nepal.

TO ALL who are vending their anger on Sajha.
I have previously proposed pro-pahadiya political force in this thread, and day by day it seems more relevant. What we need is a mainstream pro-pahadiya political force if we DONT want another bloodshed in our country. Sooner or later if the mainstream nepali samaj keeps ignoring the growing dissatisfaction of a general population towards increasing madhesikaran , we are going to see another armed group with non-political agenda like killing indiscriminate madhesis. Thats why what we need is a political force, a legitimate voice to raise OUR issues. A big and legitimate political force will no-doubt try to neutralise the growing madhesi influence in Nepali political scene.
Right now Madhesi force in the nepali political arena are like a unstoppable and inconvincible force, thats why they have the courage to threaten the whole country, with out a voice of dissent.AND I AM 100% SURE THAT THEY WILL GET THE NEW CONSTITUTION, TO THEIR LIKE BY ANY MEANS. We have only seen the start of madhesikaran in Nepal with the Jha taking oath in hindi.
Ok the question is what we can do or what we are doing. We are a group of people from various profession but with a single goal of preserving the National Unity , and thereby our Nation. Our National Identity is Nepal and Nepali language. We have to preserve it by any means. Some of us are working in Kathmandu to create a group who will work in creating a consensus for a Phadiya force. We are also working towards creating a environment in Nepalese media so that pro-pahadiya views becomes a main stream and not just a protest voice. We are a small group with limited but effective resource.
We need your help. Thats why I created a NEW google group called ThinkTankNepal. Idea is to develop it as a discussion forum to create , formulate and ultimately implement the pro-pahadiyas agenda in Nepali political arena. In that forum I function as a adminstrator and I will update the works we are doing back home.
I know some of you have reservation regarding the name" pro-pahadiya", But consider it as a principle and not a geographical nomenclature. Pro.pahadiya for us means pro.nationalist. and we will use " SAAM, DAAM , DANDA VED to achieve the nations supremacy. We can only do that by neurtralising the BIG PRO:MADHESI force. Let them be a political actor in Nepal but not the ONLY political actor like current situation.
So if you agree and want to contribute on the discussions please join the group here. Its a closed group so please indicate why you want tó join the group and a little bit of your background would be appreciated too. I have recieved many many request to join to group with out these things so I had to reject the application. We all would like to know about the members and their background.
The link to the group is
