Unless you focus on Stop loss.No matter how good your research is...you can lose big in your bet.... as the market can go against your bet..as it very frequently happen...

You will do great in the stock market...Once you love to lose small money... Always make sure to have stop loss...ALWAYS...so you know at what price you dont' want to deal with the next trade anymore..if it goes against you... and it can happen even to the best stocks like Tesla or MSFT or NFLX..as they sometime dip 20/30 per cent within months...Always have stop loss in your mind before you even make your trade...and you'll be fine...the problem with losing money comes from not having stop loss.and losing big in one poistion..totally unnecessary avoidable by having stop loss

There are different approaches to pursue financial markets. The bold line that separates Investor and Trader/spectator heavily differs on mindset as well. If you think stock market is a get rich overnight scheme, you're doom to fail. Nonetheless, Investor who longs to accumulate wealth over time has been successfull regardless of historical dips.

I am a khatri but while growing up I had noticed how the bullies will pick on dublo patalo friends of mine who happened to be from Brahman caste, called them “katha”, “lute” and pick on them, take their lunch and those friends could not fight back and I always wondered how they were affected psychologically. So to me the word brings bad memories of my good, hardworking, nerdy friends’ and I take it as a slur. The same way I feel “bhote”, “nyar “ , “jayapu”, “madishe “, “doom” as a slur.

That's good of you to be empathetic to your chilhood friends. However, most grown up Bahuns do not mind being called Bahun.

As you said you are not bahun, then why don't you mind your own business and do you thing? A grown up man should not be nosy on affairs which is not related to him.
