The albums that make you just want to puke your stomach right out...and ironically, you happen to own them. My list: 1. "Baby One More Time" Britney Spears - Singlehandedly ended the reign of the fairly decent Alt Rock movement of the first half of the 90s. Spawned an army of shrill-voiced, slutty looking clones with zero talent. For this, she ought to be put to sleep. 2. "Human Clay" Creed - Crappily written, crappily song, unoriginal garbage. Thanks to these guys, we now have "Linkin Park," "Nickelback," and "Staind." Thanks, assholes. 3. "The Sign" Ace of Bass - I had nothing against Sweden until this band came along. Their lame songs are a staple of supermarket radio stations across the nation. 4. "Load" Metallica - Should have been named "Pant Load." 5. "Marshall Mathers LP" Eminem - Made misogyny and homophobia popular again. Clever and "poetic" lyrics - if your experience with poetry is limited to Hallmark cards and Dr. Seuss. 6. "0304" Jewel - What's more annoying than a pseudo-folk, crappy book writing psycho bitch with a guitar? The same loon with a beat box! I hated her before, but after this piece of shit even her fans turned their backs on her. 7. "Metal Machine Music" Lou Reed - Sixty four minutes of (I swear I am not making this up) guitar feedback, and yet still better than anything the Backstreet Boys ever did. 8. Ricky Martin (self titled) - "Livin La Vida Loca" made it acceptable for your 80 year old grandma to shake her ass at your graduation party. Loved by teen girls and lonely housewives, hated by anyone with any self-respect. 9. "Momentary Lapse of Reason" Pink Floyd - The first Floyd album after Roger Waters left...fans were waiting for the killer guitar playing, the biting sarcastic lyrics, the 10+ minute space jams...and got a soft rock AM radio snoozefest. 10. "Boys for Pele" Tori Amos - I have a hard time deciding whether I hate Tori Amos or the people who listen to her more. However, I definitely can't stand this estrogen drenched whine and bitch extravaganza, which incidentally, features a photo of Tori herself nursing a pig in the booklet. Or wait, is it a pig nursing Tori Amos?

babaal............... dude i agree oneverything except for the one "pink floyd's" worst album??????there is nothing as pink floyd's worstalbum, well personnaly my favorite is "obscured by clouds" but "a momemtary lapse of reason " was not that bad. Didn't like "on the turning away"????????? i mean cummon dude u r comparing pink floyd with britney spears and all that! it doesn't even suit to categorize pink floyd in worst songs and albums........ the worst song for me would be 1. from a distance 2. built this city on rock and roll 3. final countdown. 4. heartache........ don johnson( this guy whould have a court order of going nowhere near the mic for life) i have a long list........ well i don't listen to anything that came oit after 89 so i don't know all this new crap! but dude pink floyd can never be bad! and i know coz i have been listening to them for 14 yrs now. SO BUDDY TRUST ME ON THIS. "fans were waiting for the killer guitar playing????????" what te hell is that supposed to mean? well........ sorrow....... on the turning away...... a new machine.......... signs of life?????/ don't they have good guitar playings????? i think u r just copying this from somewhere! so just get the labum and listen to it carefully......... roger waters left the band....... very bad thing happened to pink floyd,,,,, but hey that's what ppl said when syd barrett left the band? he is the one who gave the name and started with awesome sogs like arnold layne and bike and jugband bues.......... ....... it definitely is different as roger waters used to do. but do u know anything about roger waters? he is a social ego centric high power freak........ well read about it..... he is a very good musician but not a noble man. well that;'s it for now!!!!!!!! u buy briyney spearsalbum and u complainabout pink floyd????????? u r CRAZY BUDDY! get a grip on u'r musical life.........

well i have heard of thembut have not had actual chance to listen to them yet ! but from the things i have heard i think they are good but well lets see........ but guys thanks for supporting me on this....... an excerpt from "two suns in a sunset" makes a lot of sense doesn't it! "Like the moment when your brakes lock And you slide toward the big truck And stretch the frozen moments with your fear And youýll never hear their voices And youýll never see their faces You have no recourse to the law anymore And as the windshield melts My tears evaporate Leaving only charcoal to defend Finally I understand The feelings of the few Ashes and diamonds Foe and friend We were all equal in the end"

Amazing excerpt.... but here's my favourite one. "...you are young, life is long, there's time to kill today. and one day you wake to find, ten years have got behind you, noone told you when to run, you missed the starting gun....." :) ~time

I don't think babaal...compared Pink floyd and BSpears...he/she just listed top worst albums.... Momentary Lapse of Reason, by no means, sounds like old pink floyd...but isn't that what's great about Great Bands like pink floyd... and good music... They don't and shouldn't sound the same....That is the beauty of pink floyd...and others like pearl jam...stone temple pilots...the who....bob dylan.....and so on.... By the way, for worst album...I have to pick>> Roger Waters, The Pros And Cons Of Hitchhiking (1984)

well that's true but pink floyd sounded really different when syd barrett was there, "arnold layne".... well that song cannot be disputed to be the song that can only come out of syd barrett's minds. who else would write a song about a person whose hooby is to steal women's underwears? well getting to thepoint. the music that pink floyd made when syd barrett wrote songs are different, then roger waters took over and then he had his own way. he is a musical genius. he practically wrote all teh songs of the album "dark side of the moon" except for the guitar riffs that dave added. but once he left it was tie to take pink floyd to the next level and dave showed the world psychededlia and hard rock mixed with his amazing vocals and guitar created a phenomena as u can see in PULSE. well i was kind of in not too pleasant minds when i thought of dave singing brain damage, but a little slower than it is, it became one of the catchiest. well talking about old pink floyd they were amazing. i think my fav song is " cymbaline" and "not now john" or " gunners dream" .......... i have a long list but what i'm really trying to say is how can a guy listen to " a mometary lapse of reason" and also britney spears, well teh topic of the board is "WORSTR ALBUM OWNED" rt? so i don't get who has such a vast music head who buys britney spears and pink floyd's album and put it in worst list....... donot get this......

Daaayyyyuuuuummmmmmm........... It is good to know that there are many Pink Floyd fans out there, especially among the Sajha crowd than I ever had expected. I myself is an avid Pink Floyd fan. Them Pinkest da Floydest da best!!! At the same time, it is disheartening that Pink Floyd is being compared with an artist like Britney. I can understand Slipknot's argument that Babaal is only listing the worst albums. Fine, but when you list an album by a band that is beyond genre to a new kid on the block in the same category, you are also comparing the band/s and/or artist/artists. Slipknot, are you having a Momentary Lapse of Reason-ing? Or your thoughts simply Obscured by the Clouds? hehehe just kidding. Anyway, the subject of the topic is the worst album owned. And, among the list is the album "Momentary Lapse of Reason". Big deal eh? Does owning that album make one a Lunatic on the Dark Side of the Moon? ;) If so, I am the biggest one. And, whoever compiled the list on the first hand, Billboard, some other company, or an individual, who do they think they are? Us and them, and after all, we're only ordinary men. Silence is surrounding, I better run like hell now. :) Peace!!!

"Julia Dream" Sunlight bright upon my pillow Lighter than an eiderdown Will she let the weeping willow Wind his branches round Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams Every night I turn the light out Waiting for the velvet bride Will the scaly armadillo Find me where I'm hiding Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams Will the misty master break me Will the key unlock my mind Will the following footsteps catch me Am I really dying Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams

Pink Floyd's Time is definetly one of the best song i know! However, Ben Harper's Burn one down is awesome too! Any Ben Harper Fans here! Burn One Down" Let us burn one from end to end, And pass it over to me my friend. Burn it long, we'll burn it slow, To light me up before I go. If you don't like my fire, then don't come around, 'cause I'm gonna burn one down. Yes, I'm gonna burn one down. My choice is what I choose to do, And if I'm causing no harm, it shouldn't bother you. Your choice is who you choose to be, And if you're causin' no harm, then you're alright with me. If you don't like my fire, then don't come around, 'cause I'm gonna burn one down. Yes, I'm gonna burn one down. Herb the gift from the earth, And what's from the earth is of the greatest worth. So before you knock it try it first, Oh, you'll see it's a blessing and not a curse. If you don't like my fire, then don't come around, 'cause I'm gonna burn one down. Yes, I'm gonna burn one, oohhh.
