btw i dun see any WIKRAM in the main foto in sajha :oS...but do see the 'WATA" ...anyways...well ask someone whos nepali is good to confirm..cos one thing i do know...mero nepali barbaad cha :oS KHATTAM I TELL U!!!:oS hehe...

and dyam aint i Wet or wat?:O..but think i spread some wetness to u...(u feel like a wet blanket dun u?;oP) so now i feel dryer well might not be wet blanket now more :o(..;oP hehe

Instead of thanking the organizing committe for managing apparently hugh crowd and cooking, you guys are voicing such minor things.

These things don't mean a thing and you guys dont seem to have any slightest idea what the organizers go through. Its not easy to organize especially when you have no idea how many peoplewill show up.

Does it sound better now? I wonder why we're always so ready to give benefit of the doubt when it comes to Nepali Language, OUR OWN LANGUAGE, but super picky when it comes to English. No wonder, we can't unify ourselves through one common language.
And, anonymous: As far as what "praygatmak Bhasatatwa" explains, WADA is absolutely NEVER pronounced as BADA.

Sorry for the digression :). I am sure the overall party was a great success like in the past it has been in the beantown. (of course digressing from the overall theme of dashain with hip hop, rapz union and fashion show).

Well, the organizers here have no access to "Shyam Painter" of Bagh Bazar. At least admire their efforts to wish people "bada" Dasain (dashain). They must have spent countless hours to produce that much. The person who put efforts may not be a "linguist" like you or have "bhasik tatwikta". Plus perfection may not be their motto too like yours.

Things do get messed up when doing things in that industrial scale and they are humans. Can't you be little divine ?

They have been trying to unite and develop the community not divide ! At least we should be little greatful to them, not make fun of such "jhina masina" kura. They were successful in delivering the message, is not what languages are for?

I looked at the other pictures and "subhakamana" is there instead of "shubhakamaTA".
May be a piece of paper fell down later on.

I think, wada and bada dasain (dashain) are interchangable.

On the efforts to educate me on human errors, well it was errors that I pointed out. If we were banned from pointing out errors, the word "error" will be extinct. Think about it!

When did online magazines start becoming a measure of whats correct and incorrect, both in their contents and concepts. BA and WA CANNOT be interchanged!!!
This reminds me of an old play by MAHA, the gist was to let the viewers know how ridiculous it sounds if you replace all the BAs with WAs, viz. "WAnaras ko WIswovidyalaya WAta WE. COM. pass gareko" and " WOrama WAnera WAgmatima WAgaidinchu."
