what would happen to those EB3 applicants who have already been given the EAD?? Will their case go back to AUG 02?? Normally, after getting the EAD the GC would arrive in between 6-12 months. Would that case apply here also??

Thanks for your help even though my question was regarding employment based and you tried to help me providing info on family based.

Even the priority dates are changed. There are still no GC quotas for this fiscal year meaning still no GC approval until next fiscal year starts from October 1st...right guys?

Can you tell me how this visa number assignment per country works? Do Nepalese people have more advantage over countries like India and China in this context? Will USCIS increase the visa numbers to allocate the July 07 applicants irrespective of country?

..I don't think Nepal has separate Quota like India, China, Mexico and Philippines. Nepal falls in worldwide Quota which excludes those four countries. and Yes off course, Nepali people have more advantage over countries like India and China in this context. If you go to this September's visa bulletin, you can clearly see that.

..90 days i guess. now you have to wait till your visa number becomes current again. after that they will process your application and give u the decision.

You can check the estimated processing time for your EAD and the travel document. I think the EAD processing estimated time is April 14th, 2007 and around the same for the travel document. For more information you can get the estimated processing time for your processes at the uscis website and then by clicking the estimated processing time.

Even the visa numbers are retrogressed they still process the EAD and AP documents. Wait time is 90 days from the USCIS receipt date. If you are not able to get it, go to your local CIS office and they will issue one for temp purpose.
