The cancellation or deniel of I-140 is an automatic deniel/cancellation of I-485. If you have been working on EAD then you need to leave the country as soon as possible once you get your rejection letter. But if you are in H1B or any other type of visa then you should be fine. I am not a lawyer though . You might want to consult an immigration attorney.
