Mr. PearlJam, do you know a bit of nepali history .. if not, lets rewind ... prithivi narayan shah (the uniter of nepal, the ancestor of Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev) proclaimed "nepal chaar jaat chatthis barna ko sajha phulbari ho", now do you know what SAJHA means ? simpler words ma ... SAJHA ... even the uniter of nepal didn't say that it was HIS country . Now, who is Gyanendra Bir Bikram Shah Dev to take back HIS power ? who made that power HIS ? Is nepal OUR country or HIS country ?

I agree with you that politicians are corrupt in nepal, but that doesn't mean that you take out democracy altogether. Democracy (i'm sorry to defer from the ppl who think otherwise) is right now the best form of government, its not perfect, but its the best among the rest. So, having all panche's as our ministers i dont think will give us democracy . Look at it ... 30 years of panchayat pushed us as far back already ... do you want to be pushed back again ? think abt it ... and DONT forget ... there was a lot if not more corruption in the panchayat kaal then in the 15 years of democracy that we had. We dont know much about it coz it wasn't transparent ... otherwise how on earth are all the panche ministers so rich ?

and btw, did you know , when gyanendra took power 2 years ago, he increased the royal family salary by 6 folds, when the family size decreased so much due to the royal massacre.

So, pearljam, think abt it ? do you really want a dictator ?

This new education minister Radha Krisna Mainali was one of the four leaders (KP Bhattarai, Sahana Pradhan, I forgot the fourth one) who went to the Palace in 2046 after King Birendra succumed to the Jana Andolan and introduced multyparty democracy after consulting them.Then Mr. Mainali has become minister as a UML leader, and Male leader and again with chand Cabinet. Now he is again the minister elect by the King. This man is one of the most corrupted leaders in Nepali politics. His big belly reflects everything.

Now king G has appointed him as a minister. Rameshnath Pandey and Dan Bahadur Shahi are also famous for corruption and dirty politics. Why the hell did Gyane elected them as ministers.
Why don't you realize that the King has already shattered the dream of some hopefuls only second day after taking absolute authority. The king doesn't have good advisor> he has failed once again. Things will worsen in coming days.
