Bikram Basnet, 21, who goes to North Lake College in Texas is not in contact with his parents for more than 5 months and so far I heard, he is not in contact with any one of his friends.

His family is worried about him. If anyone of you have seen him recently please post the detail here in sajha or you can directly write to Nepalese Society of Texas (Gouri Joshi)

I hope he is safe and sound !

Bikram Basnet is very nice out going wonderful Nepali friend you can ever find. At first, he attended University of North Alabama in Fall semester in 2005. After studying one semester in UNA, Florence, Alabama, he along with other two friends Deepak and Sudan transferred to Dallas, Texas in North Lake Community College for spring semester 2006. There he lived with Sudhan, and another guy by the name Chakre according to Deepak when I called and inquired about Bikram. Later Sudhan moved out, and Chakre and Bikram lived together. According to Deepak's recent Inquiry to Chakre (Vikram's roommate) Bikram found a job in a gas station in a place by the name Wiley in Texas, and he moved there. Sudan says to me last spring him and Bikram had psychology class together in north lake community college. All of a sudden he did not show up. It has been remained mystry for all of us.

Bikram was very friendly, out going a wonderful friend while he was here in florence area. He was very active in university of north alabama nepali student organization as well as in the local church florence first assembly. He participated in on campus homecoming activities and a regualr church attender. Also, he was a good and dependeble christian brother.

Every time I called Deepak (Bikram's friend) and wanted to talk to Birkam Deepak said since Bikram do not have cell phone it is hard to reach him.

I am so much concerned since i knew him well in florence. It is my prayer that Lord Jesus keep him safe whereever he is. May the Lord comfort his family, and his loved ones. May the good news about his whereabouts be heard very soon.

Anybody related to Bikram please post the updates. Please pray for Bikram and his family.

Thank you so much.
Florence, AL
