anyways, ppl with jhyaau jobs - what do you do kill time? bathroom,
coffee break, just staring at the monitor, just staring at the clock,
talking to co-workers, day-dreaming, whatelse??

I go to www.miniclip.com and play some interesting games. But most of the time I go for sports news. That really kills your time.

You cracked me up. Sometimes I get bored in my office too and do all those things you do.

But on serious note:

There might be two reasons in getting bored at your office.

Either you have lots of work load and you don't like it,
Or you want to work and you don't have enough work to do.

For the first one, I think you should change yourself and try to accopmlish the work. It will not only affect the volume of work load for the next day but also you will have good night sleep as you will be tired. :P
For the second one, the only way is to change the office. Find another job where you can get enough work and your mind gets busy.

I know you will be paid even if you kill time doing something else, but it will not help you update yourself in future.

Just a thought. (as if I am giving all my times in work jasto ke :oP)

whenever you get bored, just shut down your computer and come out of the building. Again come in and turn on and open files, shut down, turn on, ......... continue until you get completely refreshed.

I am working at this company for the summer only, and I already find it boring! To kill time, I and my other three co-workers adjacent to my cube engage in puzzle solving game, of course without our boss knowing it. The person who asks the question will have to get a glass of water to the person who solves it, otherwise one of the other three people will have to get a glass of water to the person who asked the question. I usually ask questions, and get water on my table too. :)

It helps pass some minutes.

CaMoFLaGeD, well, i'm not bored not coz i have lots of work or i hate
my job, it's coz i don't have anything to do. i've been doing to same
stuff for more than a year, it doesn't take me too long to get my
stuff done. anyways, that's that..

about the 'sticky' situation, yeah, i like to write everything down and
have it in my face all the time coz it's really easy for me forget
stuff. my situation has gotten to the point where i tape a full sheet
of paper on the side of my monitor heheheh...

oh yeah, i'm quitting my job in a month and half, that's why they don't give me more stuffs to do.

I do buy and sale things on Ebay to kill my time when I am not busy. But lucky me; I am busy most of the time.

hmmm...then write a research paper....or draw cartoons, morph your own photo or others....play minesweeper.. after you accomplish all 3 levels in minesweeper, challenge against your own best time...

i can understand what you guys going through. i am doing my summer internship, its only been a month and half and i already miss my sandwich place work. if work's gonna be this boring then i better not graduate.
