आउने ७ तारिखमा PBS मा "The Buddha" भन्ने documentary देखाउन लागिएको छ। Documentaryमा Buddha  was an Indian जस्तो कुरा गरेको छ। यदि येसको बिरोध US भरि गरिने हो भने धेरै भन्दा धेरै मान्छेहरुले "Buddha was born in Nepal" भन्ने थाहा पाउँछन। मलाई त यो controversy ले नेपालीहरुलाई हाम्रो आवाज उठाउने अवसर प्रदान गर्छ जस्तो लाग्छ।  If we are able to spread the fact about Buddha, a lot of tourists won't go to Uttar Pradesh India looking for birthplace of Buddha! 2011 is Visit Nepal Year, remember?

We are representing Buddha, the symbol of peace! It will a peaceful protest. dunga mudha garera kaslai aafno career ko satyaanaash garnu cha ra?

Peace is not gonna make Buddha Nepali....India will take him away from us

Write or call PBS and tell them to make correction before airing  the show.  Once they air the show our peaceful protest won't make any difference.

First find out whether or not the mistake has been made...can someone show any credible backup before even suggesting that correction should be made??.....rather than going with rumors heard on the internet which has no base you need to have a solid proof of the mistake that might have occured.

Yes Yes let us all close down india nepal border to show india who is the BOSS...surely that should teach them a lesson...locking down the border on nepal side will show india that we will not let them TAKE BUDDHA from us...we will close the border but not let BUDDHA go to india..YAAYYY!!

its not that hard, actually. but who is going to organize it.. in such a short notice? when is the original airdate again? in TX, i dont kno what these mof0s NST ppl do, but I can go talk with them and see if there is any possibility of a peaceful march..

And 2011 being a Visit Nepal Year really makes this an opportunity for us to bring Nepal to their attention! Also, the Visit Nepal Board might be willing to help to make the peaceful march nationwide.

Correct me if I am wrong but I didn't heard when PBS says that Buddha was born in India. I think it says that he lives in India 2500 years ago, which is is true.

Good news guys! Today when I was listening to FM, "The Buddha" was advertised in a different way. They might not say Buddha was an Indian sage in the documentary.
